The CPSR safety assessment report for cosmetics is a complete set of services, and the CPSR report certificate is reviewed and issued by SGS.

1. Importance of CPSR

Since 2017, the mandatory CE certification of all cosmetics has been changed to CPSR safety certification. All cosmetics must have CPSR to be successfully launched in the EU market. In order to step into the EU market, more and more cosmetic manufacturers in China have applied for the EU CPSR certification.

2. Differences between CPSR and CPNP

CPSR is to make a safety assessment on the safety test report of various substances according to the European Union's test standards for the characteristics of cosmetics to assess whether our products are safe. CPNP is a registration certification of the European Union and is not mandatory.

3. How to apply for CPSR safety assessment certification

1. The enterprise must provide relevant test and certification reports according to CPSR requirements. The reports to be made are as follows

A. Heavy metal pollution test report (lead, cadmium, mercury, arsenic, antimony, etc. (soluble))

B. Microbial contamination test report

C. Corrosion resistance test report

D. Stability test report

E. Test report of other risk substances

F. Heavy metal test report of packaging materials

G. MSDS and COA report of each component

H. For those containing essence, MSDS, IFRA certificate and analysis report of 26 allergic essence of essence shall be provided
